Saloni Varma brings a diverse wealth of experiences in strategic and operational finance in consumer goods companies to her role at Thorne. She is currently the CFO of MotifFoodworks, a food technology company working to make plant-based foods so desirable that people actually crave them. Prior to that she was CFO of ByHeart, and has held various leadership roles at purpose-driven brands like Chobani, Dove, and Talenti, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and execution on strategic opportunities. Saloni has worked in investment banking in New York and Tokyo at UBS and began her career in accounting at KPMG. Saloni has a Masters of Commerce, Accounting from the University of Mumbai, and a Masters in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School. She is also the Treasurer for Common Denominator, a non-profit providing free one-on-one tutoring to children in New York City. As a member of the Thorne HealthTech Board of Directors, Saloni serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee.
